Participate in Job Fair
|
On February 2, 2012, the SEU participated in a job fair held at Baker College, Flint MI. Participants from the stations included our General Sales Manager, Promotions Director and the Sales Assistant. The SEU provided attendees with information about vacancies within the SEU and career opportunities within Cumulus. |

Internship Program
|
During the reporting period, the SEU hosted four student interns from regional colleges. All interns worked in the SEU’s Promotions and Marketing Department and were supervised by the SEU’s Promotions and Marketing Director. While at the SEU, the interns were afforded opportunities to implement promotions, attend remote promotional events, used standard promotional software applications, marketing initiatives and draft sales proposals. One intern hailed from Mott Community College (10/11-12/11) and three interns from University of Michigan- Flint (01/12-04/12). |
[1]On October 31, 2011, the actions necessary to consummate the assignment of license for station WRSR(FM), Oswosso, MI (Facility ID 41681) from Cumulus Licensing, LLC (“Cumulus”) to Potential Broadcasting, LLC, as Trustee, were completed (see FCC File No. BALH-20110916ADB). Pursuant to the underlying trust agreement, WRSR(FM) continues to share employees with Cumulus’ Flint, MI station employment unit.
[2]On September 16, 2011, the actions necessary to consummate the transfer of control of the stations in this employment unit were completed. See Existing Shareholders of Cumulus Media, Inc., et al., 29 FCC Rcd. 12956 (2011). As a result, the timeframe for this report is an abbreviated one, beginning on September 16, 2011.
