My name is Desiree Boyce but most people call me Desi. I am a production worker for General Motors UAW Local 651 and I am also CEO of Desired Hair Company. I am a woman of God first and a mother of two right after. My children Eric (7) and Dakota (4) are my entire world and everything that I do is in an effort to make sure they know the struggle but never have to feel it. On December 18, 2013 I received my associate’s degree in Business Management. On March 13, 2015 I opened up the hair store Chic Beauty Bar on Linden Rd. in Flint, MI. Due to unforeseen events I had to close this store in September 2017 but everything happens for a reason and now I am back and better! On March 29, 2019 I closed on my first home and that has been so rewarding. I started Desired Hair Company in May of 2020 after becoming frustrated with my daughter’s hair seeming to be at a standstill. Shortly thereafter I took down some box braids and lost an entire braid from my edges, I was devastated, but this motivated me even more to create a great product that would help people struggling with healthy hair growth. I researched and researched until I felt I had the perfect combination of essential and carrier oils and in June 2020 I released what people like to call liquid gold DHC Growth Stimulation Oil.
